"I bought this Taylors of Harrogate, Yorkshire Gold tea after reading all of the glowing reviews saying no other tea compared. I was actually excited for the tea to get to my house as I've been looking for a good tea to take on the go for classes. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if it was reformulated, but it just taste like warm water. I am very disappointed with this purcahse"

" I've been drinking hot tea for years now, but this is the best I've ever had. This Taylors of Harrogate, Yorkshire Gold tea has an EXTREMELY strong flavor, and the caffeine content is plentiful... If you need an extra kick in your day, this is the tea you're looking for. I don't see why there is any point in messing with loose teas, when you can find a quality bagged tea like this. I find that the best brewing times is 3 minutes, and if I go over that, this tea can turn slightly bitter."
  • 160-count tea bags
  • Authentic Yorkshire gold tea
  • English Tea with a unique and distinctive taste
  • It is full-bodied and has a malty flavor
Every other tea I have tried pales in comparison to this full-bodied, rich, satisfying brew. Since I drink my tea black, I am seeking nothing but tea flavor--not tea-flavored, sweetened milk or any other such corruption; just the lovely, intense bloom of unadulterated tea-ness! Yorkshire Gold tantalizes the taste buds with what can best be described as sparkle, sadly missing from other teas. Highly recommended.

N. Norris" I discovered Yorkshire Gold tea in the north of England in the 1990s when one still couldn't purchase it in the USA. Amazon has been a great resource. However, my last few purchases have been a bit disappointing. The tea tastes a bit "off." I have no idea if the quality has diminished or the tea is not fresh. I still like it well-enough, just not enough to give it a top grade."

"We love this Taylors of Harrogate, Yorkshire Gold tea. You can brew it strong and it is never bitter. Let steep with a hat on the cup (after warming up the cup of course!), ideally letting it steep (with hat) while the cup stands in a pot of not-quite-boiling water - I suggest at least 5-minutes! Then adding a few slightly rounded teaspoons of sugar and an ounce of whole milk. Summer or Winter - just the best tasting tea I've come across and I've tried *many* over the years. The only thing which would rival is a loose tea - Orange Pekoe we found in Maryland."
